“CHESS saved my life when I had hit rock bottom. I never imagined I’d find myself homeless at 50. My life took a turn I couldn’t have foreseen, and it all started to unravel back in 2020 when I met my then partner.”

Ben’s Story

Ben came into CHESS via our Winter Project and his journey has brought him to a place where he now works for the Outreach Team at CHESS. He says “I am now in a place where I can give back and help others who are where I once was. it’s important they know they can find a better life and not have to live like this forever. There is help out there.”

Barry’s Story

Barry also came in via the CHESS Winter Project and with support has now managed to turn his life around, is in a home of his own and well on the way to getting back on his feet.
