Tenancy Support Worker

Line Management Responsibility: Client Support Manager

Hours: 20 Hours per week (5 x 4hr days a week)

Contract: 3 year contract starting April 2021

Overall Purpose of the Job

To work closely with Rochford Council Housing Needs Service:

  • provide an effective customer focused tenancy support service through strong partnership working and delivering a range of pro-active solutions.
  • assist with the safety and security of clients in accommodation.
  • assist service users to move towards greater levels of community integration and enhanced independent living.
  • liaise closely with and facilitate/accompany the CHESS Outreach Team visits in the local area.

Other requirements for this role:

  • A full driving licence is required for the post to facilitate support activities and moves where necessary
  • This role is subject to the satisfactory completion of a DBS check

Hours:  37.5 Hours per week

Contract: 3 year contract starting April 2021

Overall Purpose of the Job

To work closely with Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) Housing Needs Service:

  • provide an effective customer focused tenancy support service through strong partnership working and delivering a range of pro-active solutions.
  • assist with the safety and security of a house of multiple occupation (HMO)
  • assist service users to move towards greater levels of community integration and enhanced independent living.
  • liaise closely with and facilitate/accompany the CHESS Outreach Team visits in the local area

Other requirements for this role:

  • A full driving licence is required for the post to facilitate support activities and moves where necessary
  • This role is subject to the satisfactory completion of a DBS check
