CHESS Fundraising and Marketing Manager

Reporting to: Operations Manager
Line Management Responsibility: Assistant Fundraiser
Hours per week: 37.5 hours
Salary Scale: £26,000 – £29,656 pa

Overall purpose of the job:

The role of the CHESS Fundraising and Marketing Manager is to develop CHESS’ external presence in collaboration with the senior management team through a number of mechanisms including maintaining the current, as well as implementing new fundraising and marketing ideas; event management; building a team of volunteers to contribute to the conceptual and practical running of events; raising participation of existing strategies; liaising with companies, community groups, faith groups and other stakeholder relationships through a variety of communications with the purpose of increasing income.

Rough Sleeper Outreach Team Coordinator

Reporting to: Operations Manager
Line Management Responsibility: Outreach Team
Hours per week: 24.5 Hours weekly, times to be agreed- Most hours will fall in the working day, but early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holiday working will, at times, be necessary to ensure continuity of service.
Contract Term: Temporary contract, running to 31st March 2020, with the possibility of extension depending on funding
Salary Scale: £26,596 pro rata

Overall purpose of the job:

CHESS have funding to extend their outreach services to provide support in order to prevent and relieve rough sleeping in Mid-Essex.

Successful applicants will work to develop CHESS outreach services to deliver a quick response wrap-around service of support and assistance to referrals to rough sleepers and those at risk of rough sleeping to assess needs and facilitate their uptake of homelessness provisions, engagement with specialist support services and journey to independent living.

Rough Sleeper Outreach Worker – Full Time

Reporting to: Outreach Co-ordinator
Line Management Responsibility: Volunteer on duty, if applicable
Hours per week: 37.5 Hours weekly, hours to be confirmed, but will be worked mainly Monday to Friday and mostly within office hours, but evening, weekend and bank holiday working will, at times, be necessary to respond quickly to referrals to the Outreach Service.
Contract Term: Temporary contract, running to 31st March 2020, with the possibility of extension depending on funding
Salary Scale: £23,000

Hours per week: 16-20 hours weekly – working late evenings or early mornings. Weekend/bank holiday working is an integral part of the role to respond quickly to referrals to the Outreach Service.

Salary Scale: £23,000 pro rata
