CHESS run fundraising events throughout the year to make up the shortfall in funds needed to run the charity and provide the best services for our clients.  These could be events we organise or that the local community put on to raise money for us.  We would love you to join us as at these events as either a participant or just to attend and enjoy the event.  Details below for current opportunities.

Proms At The Hall

An evening of musical theatre in the grounds of Ingatestone Hall. Headlining John Pierce, singer ‘Britains Got Talen’ semi-finalist and various acts and ages, with funds raised going to CHESS Homeless and Hope&Aid Direct.

Chelmsford Community Gospel Choir at LIFE Church, Chelmsford.

Join us for an evening of Joyful Harmonies by this inspirational choir, and we will be sharing the impact CHESS Homeless has on its service users supporting them out of homeless situations and getting their lives back on track.

Quiz Night with music from DJ Ciao at Voodoo Keller, Chelmsford

Join our Charity Pub Quiz for just £5 per person and win super special prizes.  You can pay on the night (max team of 6 per table) but spaces are limited.

Ticket price will be donated directly to CHESS.

London to Brighton Cycle Ride

The London to Brighton Cycle Ride is an iconic 55 mile cycle ride starting from Clapham Common in South London, to the seaside town of Brighton.

BIG Sleepout at Chelmsford Cathedral

Our annual fundraising event invites you to experience rough sleeping in the cold of winter, raising funds to spend a night under the stars in the grounds of this iconic venue.
