You may have questions about the services that we offer at CHESS Homeless and we want everyone to be clearly informed.
CHESS Homeless are often looking for staff to support our services users. Check regularly to see the latest opportunities. - OUR SERVICES
The Council (local authority) has a duty to help people experiencing homelessness.
Help someone you see who is sleeping rough or appears to be homeless.
CHESS provides outreach services to rough sleepers in 8 local authorities across Essex.
We understand that there are many reasons for homelessness which can be complex. - SUPPORT US
Whether you are an individual, business owner, member of a church or other organisation, there are so many ways you can help us.
You have the option to make a one-off donation by changing the field to an amount of your choice or you can make a regular monthly payment
We have lots of collection tins looking for good homes so please support CHESS by collecting loose change at your school, business or event. - GET INVOLVED
We are hosting a Super Sleep Out on Friday 22nd March 2024 .
There are so many ways you can help us open doors for the homeless.
CHESS relies on the support of volunteers who play a vital role.
CHESS is always looking to make new connections in our local community.
CHESS was originally set up by Churches Together in Chelmsford (CTIC).
